- 2 / 5By Arthur BenbowWe went to the Special Mothers Day Carvery! It was Special for the hotel, they had reduced the choice of starter & sweet & made them the cheapest they had. Every item on the carvery was cold from the plate to the gravy, & the meat was carved so thin you could read a paper through it. After complaining that it was all cold we were served a special meal from the kitchen which was poor but hot. I ordered sticky toffee pud & was served syrup sponge & told it was sticky toffee pud. It turned out to be Special Mothers Day rip off!March 25, 2017
