  Rooms are dated and smallish, with a lack of space for a cot and the sofa bed to be used despite saying it is a family room. Plug outlets are few and far between and the overall feel of the hotel is of one that is dated. The shower and bathroom though is much better and vastly improved over the rest of the hotel, and storage in the rooms and parking was impressive. Location off the M60 was a godsend after travelling the M6 and M62 all afternoon.

  Bit of a funny place. Obviously recently refurbished, and done well. But every now and then you stumble upon a piece of the original fittings which remind you of its past uhm... "glories."

  The hotel, bar, and food were all great. The reception was very helpful. Only complaint is that the hotel is a little hard to access as there is a median that only allows access from one way.
